Heath Ledger was born on 4 April 1979, in Perth, Western Australia. He did movies like "10 Things I hate about you", "The Order", "Casanova" to mention some of them. He was nominated for the 2005 Academy Award for Best Actor and he won Academy Award.

Although Ledger had aspirations to become a film director, he only had made some music videos. He became the first actor to win an award posthumously. His penultimate performance as the Joker in "The Dark Knight" and his ultimate performance was "The imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Ledger died 2008 in New York, at the age of 28 and leaving his three years old daughter Matilda woiout a father.
